Dr. Cassandra Brooks is an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. She works at the intersection of marine science, policy and the public to achieve conservation solutions. Cassandra has a fierce passion for Antarctica, with the last 20 years of her career focused on protecting the region. She is currently Chief Officer of SCAR’s Standing Committee on Antarctic Treaty System.
