In his current role with Polar Knowledge Canada, David promotes the co-development, coordination and mobilization of Canada’s Arctic and Antarctic research activities across federal government, Indigenous, northern, academic, industry and international partners. He is chair of the Arctic Science Funders Forum, and previously led the Canadian IPY 2007-08 Secretariat and served as IASC President.
