Institut océanographique - Fondation Albert Ier, Prince de Monaco

The Oceanographic Institute – Foundation Albert I, Prince of Monaco was founded in 1906 by Prince Albert I. For over a century, it has brought together scientific, political, economic, educational and community players, as well as the general public, in order to make« know, love and protect the ocean ». In support of this project, it implements a wide range of outreach activities, drawing on its two facilities – the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco and the Maison de l’Océan in Paris – as well as digital tools.
