Rob DeConto is a Professor of Climate Science and Director of the School of Earth & Sustainability at UMass-Amherst where he hosts the Climate & Cryosphere (CliC) project office of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP). He studies the dynamic behavior of polar ice sheets, their role in sea level rise and related impacts on coastlines and people. Rob is an AGU fellow and IPCC lead author.
